With over 18 years of experience in the field of hairdressing, he offers a wide range of professional services. At the "Tailor Made" hair salon, Dimitris Girtzalis and his team, pursues the ultimate desired result for his guests by prefoliating and enhancing the quality of the hair. The inventive and resourceful Hair Expert with environmental sensitivities founded Restia. Restia is a non-profit organization that collects hair from hairdressers and pet groomers to produce special filters for cleaning the seas. Finally, wanting to pass on his love and knowledge of hairdressing, he trains hairdressers by providing seminars and workshops to renowned companies in the sector.
Necessity Breeds New Ideas
How our idea started
Everything started during the first quarantine against Covid-19.
A group of hairdressers were initially looking for ways to serve their clients mainly in matters of dyeing. Then came product needs and as a result research. That moment, programmers, designers and technology consultants came into the equation and the… paint got stuck.
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, mind the hair cooperates with the organization Restia for the protection of the seas. Restia is a non-profit organization based in Greece that produces filters from human and animal hair used to collect oil from water and the environment in general. Studies confirm that hair filters are the most effective of all in absorbing petroleum products. Restia aims to contribute to the immediate relief of the environment from oil pollution and to change our attitude towards environmental protection.
